Arthur and his wife Millicent started doing fine art restoration in their home in Fort Salonga, NY in 1985. Their shared love of art and his background in chemistry started them on a journey which continues today in their Amagansett New York studio.
Each artwork is unique and must be evaluated and tested to determine the appropriate processes that can be used to repair, restore and conserve them. Arthur’s experience as well as his degree in chemistry help guide this process of finding the treatments that will achieve the desired results with the least stress to the artworks.
We have restored oil paintings and artworks on paper dating from the 16th century to the present. Our clients include private collectors, art dealers, appraisers, corporations, museums, historical societies and the Salgo Trust for Education (collection of Hungarian art).
